Last night we attempted to brave the cold to see the Mardi Gras parade in Lafayette. It didn’t take long for us to turn into total wusses because it was sooooo COLD…or at least I turned into a total wuss. J was either warm or ignoring the fact he was frozen like a snowman. Either way, he’s much better at sub 70 degree temperatures than I am.
I needed coffee! Hot, fresh, something to defrost my hands, COFFEE! We missed the 7:00 cut off (by 3 seconds) at CC’s, but they let us order in the drive thru. Since the streets were barricaded, we were on foot…so we did what every Cajun would do in the time of a coffee crisis…we formed a line in the drive thru. Thank you Awesome CC’s Guy for letting us order coffee!!! Otherwise, I would be completely fingerless today
