{Inspirational Palette}

March 9, 2010

Decor Dislikes:
I have a confession to make….I loathe anything that remotely resembles a rooster. There, I said it. Dinnerware, flatware, dishtowels, baskets….the list goes on and on. I’ve even taken a strong disliking to refrigerators that have the petrified animal roosting on top. I know, it isn’t the refrigerators fault. It just seems to me that it would be unsafe to put a rock with legs where it could fall off and render one unconscious. With that being said, it’s safe to assume there won’t be any hazardous roosters in the studio.

Decor Likes:
Movable walls, concrete, steel, glass, black, white…Yesterday, my friend Julie called my taste slightly “sterile”…I think she’s onto something. I do love the clean look of a bright, airy, white room…but on the other hand, there’s something about a black couch with delicate legs on a concrete floor that screams “rich” and “anchored” to me.

Which color palette do you prefer?

    Jess, I agree with the rooster comment also cows, pigs and other farm animals. lol.I see you like sleek, clean and modern. I like warm tones , comfortable and cozy, not country just inviting.

    I was afraid you didn’t like roosters,(they add so much character) but think the taste “sterile” is definitely very interesting. As far as which color palette I prefer… I will go for the top one.
